Dora F. Noxon (b. Fletcher) (c. 1850-1926) was born in Wisconsin and died
in San Bernardino, California. She was a dressmaker. She married Franklin F. Noxon, an
electrician, in Denver, Colorado, in 1883. Noxon studied Christian Science with Minnie
B. Hall De Soto in 1886 and joined The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston,
Massachusetts, on June 2, 1900. Around 1914 she moved to Los Angeles, California. In
November 1886 and July 1892, Noxon wrote to Mary Baker Eddy inquiring about taking the
Normal class with her, but there is no record of her subsequently doing so.
