Orville H. Mott (1851-1912) was born in Saratoga, New York, and died in Fort Edward, New York. He was a practicing physician in Fort Ann, New York, for almost thirty years before moving to Fort Edward in about 1905. Although he expressed an interest in Christian Science, there is no record of him studying with Mary Baker Eddy or uniting with the Church of Christ (Scientist).
