Emily C. Moseley (1833-1912) was born in Bedford, Massachusetts, and died in Elgin, Illinois. She married Horace N. Moseley, a factory worker, in 1869. Moseley was a student of Silas J. and Jennie E. Sawyer's, who were students of Mary Baker Eddy's. She joined The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, on January 1, 1898.
