Janette C. Moscrip (1854-1934) was born in Morebattle, Scotland, and died in Edmonton, England. She wrote to Mary Baker Eddy in 1885 about Christian Science and about her aunt, Mrs. Field, who had been healing others through prayer in Jackson, Michigan. Although Janette expressed an interest in studying with Mary Baker Eddy, there is no record of her doing so or joining The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.
