Caroline M. Moore (1867-1952) was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, and died in Los Angeles, California. Moore and her mother, Julia T. Moore, were students of Mary Baker Eddy's, studying with her in May 1880. That June, they became members of the Christian Scientist Association. They were both active in the association until 1883. By 1900, Moore had moved to Los Angeles with her mother. She later married Burr W. Degarmo, a salesman, sometime during the 1920s.
