Caroline C. C. Moore (1823-1917) was born in Lebanon, Illinois, and died in Globe, Arizona. She became interested in Christian Science in early 1885 after moving from Kansas to New Mexico. Moore wrote to Mary Baker Eddy, asking her to heal her son, John T. Moore. Eddy was no longer accepting patients because she was devoting her time to writing and teaching others to heal, but she sent Moore a free copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.
