Henry Miller (c.1825-?) was born in Germany and most likely died in Iowa. He was a German translator who translated several tracts by New Church writers, including: The True Idea of God by Chauncey Giles and Aphorisms of the New Life by William Henry Holcombe. He became interested in Christian Science after reading an article in The New Church Independent, written by Minerva A. Hinckley. In late 1885, after reading Hinckley's article, he wrote to Mary Baker Eddy, asking her to employ him as a translator to translate Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures into German.
