Albert E. Miller (1874-1922) was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and died in Brookline, Massachusetts. He worked as a factory manager and married Printhia Trahern in Philadelphia in 1895. He became interested in Christian Science soon after, when his wife was healed of Bright's Disease. The Millers joined The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, on July 3, 1897 and were members of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Philadelphia. In 1901, Miller served as Christian Science Committee on Publication for Pennsylvania. The Millers were both elected as Executive Members of The Mother Church on September 7, 1903 and completed Primary class instruction three months later. Miller became a Christian Science teacher in 1907, and was a member of the General Association of Teachers. He became circulation manager for The Christian Science Monitor in 1909, and served as Assistant Manager of the Committee on Publication for The Mother Church. He was listed in the directory of The Christian Science Journal as a Christian Science practitioner from 1900 until his passing. Miller was a member of the Freemasons and belonged to Corinthian Lodge #368 in Philadelphia.
