Walter McFarlane (1819-1896) was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and died in Evansville, Wisconsin. He was a Methodist Episcopal pastor, who ministered from 1856 to 1876 in the Wisconsin conference. Despite expressing an interest in Christian Science treatment through prayer, there is no record of him studying with Mary Baker Eddy.
