Ednah W. Marple (1851-1919) was born in Enfield, New Hampshire, and died in Los Angeles, California. She married Russell S. Marple, a merchant and American Civil War veteran, in 1870. They lived in Sheffield, Illinois, for many years before moving to California. Marple wrote to Mary Baker Eddy in 1886 to order copies of Christian Healing and Historical Sketch of Metaphysical Healing. Based on the records available, we have found no further information concerning her involvement with Christian Science.
