Zoe S. Loveland (1859-1945) was born and died in Chicago, Illinois. She
            married Charles L. Loveland in 1884 and divorced him in 1886. She was educated at Saint
            Xavier's Academy in Chicago and at the University of Chicago. Loveland was the author of
            numerous books and articles on the Bible and metaphysics, as well as a member of the
            Illinois Woman's Press Association. She was a student of Mary Baker Eddy's, completing
            the Normal class in May 1889, and she was a member of the National Christian Scientist
            Association.
