Edward A. Livermore (1824-1887) was a farmer and lifelong resident of
Londonderry, Vermont. He was a neighbor of the family of Mary Baker Eddy's third
husband, Asa G. Eddy (c.1832-1882), who was born and raised in Londonderry, Vermont.
Livermore helped manage the Eddy family farm after the passing of Asa Gilbert Eddy's
parents, Asa Eddy (1786-1863) and Betsey Eddy (1794-1860). His son, Warren G. Livermore
(1852-1913), a resident of Cambridge, Massachusetts, assisted Asa G. Eddy and Mary Baker
Eddy with real estate transactions during several lawsuits involving the Eddys.
