Mary A. Lilly (c.1850-1925) was born in Killgarven, Ireland, and died in
Chicago, Illinois. Lilly emigrated to the United States from Ireland in 1865, settling
in Chicago. She became interested in Christian Science in 1884, eventually taking
Primary class with Roger Sherman, a student of Mary Baker Eddy's. She joined the The
First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, in March 1894 and was a
member until her passing.
