Leonice A. Libby (1820-1910) was born in Gray, Maine, and died in Malden, Massachusetts. She married Ansel L. Libby, a shoemaker, and they eventually moved to Lynn, Massachusetts. According to her daughter, Hortense R. Kelley, Libby knew Mary Baker Eddy when she was in Lynn in the 1860s and 70s and later became a student of Christian Science.
