Charles O. Lewis (c. 1836-1885) was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and died in Lynn, Massachusetts. He worked as a bookkeeper and married Annie A. Lewis (b. Rhodes) in Lynn in 1867. They leased Mary Baker Eddy's home, 8 Broad Street in Lynn in 1880; living in the house's upper tenement while Lewis' brother, George Lewis, lived with his family in the lower tenement.
