Jesse L. Lancaster (1883-1918) was born in Bourbon County, Kentucky, and died in Lexington, Kentucky. He worked as a laborer and was the son of Malinda J. Lancaster, a student of Mary Baker Eddy's and an early worker in the Christian Science movement in Kentucky. Jesse Lancaster joined The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, on July 3, 1897.
