William D. Lambuth (1863-1931) was born in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and
died in Aberdeen, Washington. In 1885, while working as a bookseller, he wrote to Mary
Baker Eddy, asking for a catalog of her published works and information on the
Massachusetts Metaphysical College. In 1890 he moved to Seattle, Washington, where he
worked as a real estate attorney for the firm Lambuth, Sill & Co.
