Helen M. Ladd (1829-1907) was born in Morgan, Vermont, and died in
Belmont, Massachusetts. She was a music teacher at the New Hampshire Conference Seminary
(now Tilton School) from 1848-1853. She married George C. Kendall. Her father, Nathaniel
G. Ladd, had a medical practice in Sanbornton Bridge (now Tilton), New Hampshire. His
patients included the Baker family, and he treated Mary Baker Eddy in her youth.
