Helen M. Kirby (1843-1929) was born and died in Lowell, Massachusetts.
She was married to Abner T. Kirby, a dentist who for many years practiced in Providence,
Rhode Island. She became interested in Christian Science after reading Science and
Health and learning of people cured by Mary A. Damon, a student of Mary Baker Eddy's.
Although Kirby expressed an interest in Christian Science, there is no record of her
studying with Mary Baker Eddy or uniting with the Church of Christ (Scientist).
