Charles F. Kinzel (1854-1917) was born in Jefferson, Wisconsin, and died
in Kansas City, Missouri. He worked as a conductor for the Chicago, Burlington and
Quincy Railroad. He married Fredrica R. Kinzel (b. Rebensdorff) in Chicago, Illinois, in
1881. Kinzel was a student of John P. Filbert, a student of Mary Baker Eddy's, in 1887
before becoming a student of Eddy's himself, completing her Primary class in March 1888.
He joined The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, on March 31,
1894. Kinzel was a member of First Church of Christ, Scientist, St. Joseph, Missouri. He
was listed in the directory of
The Christian Science Journal as
a Christian Science practitioner in St. Joseph from 1896 to 1898.
