Charlotte A. Kimball (b. Atkinson) (1837-1928) was born in Tilton, New Hampshire, and died in Concord, New Hampshire. She was the niece of Alexander H. Tilton who was the husband of Mary Baker Eddy's eldest sister, Abigail Baker Tilton. Kimball graduated from Tilton School and later became a music teacher there. In 1895 she married John Kimball, a former railroad mechanic, bank president, member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, collector of internal revenue for New Hampshire, Mayor of Concord, and president of the New Hampshire Senate.
