W. (William A.) Kellaway (1848-1927) was born in Weymouth, Dorset, England, and died in Los Angeles, California. Kellaway was a Boston-based printer who printed The Christian Science Journal from its first issue in 1883 until late 1888. Kellaway also printed some of Mary Baker Eddy's writings: Historical Sketch of Metaphysical Healing (1885) and Rudiments and Rules of Divine Science (1887). Kellaway sold his printing business in 1888 because of financial hardship and moved to California. While living in Los Angeles, he continued to work as a printer and a publisher; however, he also began to work as an author, publishing his major work, The New System of Christian Living, in 1917. There is no record of Kellaway studying with Eddy or uniting with the Church of Christ (Scientist).
