Lillie M. Joy (c.1856-1887) was born in California and died in Sacramento, California. She became interested in Christian Science after receiving Christian Science treatment from her aunt. In July 1885, Joy wrote to Mary Baker Eddy to request copies of Eddy's published works, including Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.
