Nancy D. Jones (1831-1923) was born and died in Hallowell, Maine. She married James J. Jones, a farmer. Jones wrote to Mary Baker Eddy in 1885, asking for advice on Christian Science treatment through prayer. There is no record of Jones studying with Eddy or joining The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.
