Carrie R. Pike Johnson (b. Pike) (1851-1929) was born in New Marlborough, Massachusetts, lived much of her life in New Hartford, Connecticut, and died in Seattle, Washington. In 1915, Pike married Erland H. Johnson, a Swedish immigrant who worked as a farmer. Johnson wrote to Mary Baker Eddy in 1886 to order a pamphlet, and then to order Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.
