William H. Isherwood (c. 1850-1891) was born in Newburgh, New York, and
died in Holyoke, Massachusetts. In 1884 when he wrote to Mary Baker Eddy, he was working
as a steamfitter in Holyoke. Although he expressed an interest in Christian Science,
there is no record of him studying with Mary Baker Eddy or uniting with the Church of
Christ (Scientist).
