Laura A. Hutchinson
Laura A. Hutchinson (c.1844-1891) was born and died in Rhode Island. She
became interested in Christian Science in 1885 while living in Forestdale, a district of
North Smithfield, Rhode Island. Hutchinson maintained a medical practice in Forestdale
and wrote to Mary Baker Eddy in July 1885, asking for information about studying at the
Massachusetts Metaphysical College.
