Angelia S. Huntress (1833-1917) was born in Dover, New Hampshire, and
died in Boston, Massachusetts. She worked as a dressmaker. Huntress married Isaac Farrar
in 1853 and later divorced him in 1859, citing "extreme cruelty." She became interested
in Christian Science in 1886, writing to Mary Baker Eddy to order a copy of
Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.
