Bessie M. Howe (1861-1888) was born in an unknown location and died in
Camden, Maine. She married Willard Chamberlain Howe, who worked as a machinist. Howe
wrote to Mary Baker Eddy in 1885, asking about Christian Science treatment through
prayer. There is no record of her studying with Mary Baker Eddy or uniting with The
First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.
