A. Mc. C. (Andrew McClarry Chapman) Howard (1826-1917) was born in
Tamworth, New Hampshire, and died in Rosebud, Montana. He worked as a lumberjack in
Maine for many years before moving to Montana, where he owned and operated a cattle
ranch. Although he expressed an interest in Christian Science, there is no record of him
studying with Mary Baker Eddy or uniting with the Church of Christ (Scientist).
