Ella M. Hollis (1850-1902) was born in Brockton, Massachusetts, and died
in Groveland, Massachusetts. She received treatment for deafness from two of Mary Baker
Eddy's students: first from Daniel H. Spofford (1842-1924) in 1875 and later from Edward
J. Arens (c.1841-1905).
