Frances Thompson Hill (1886-1979) was born in Littleton, New Hampshire, and died in Seattle, Washington. She was a Christian Scientist who joined The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, in June 1899. In 1911 she married Calvin C. Hill, a Christian Science practitioner and teacher. Frances Thompson Hill actively collected reminiscences from people who had known Mary Baker Eddy, and in 1946, gave them to The Mother Church. She served on the Christian Science Hymnal revision committee that produced the 1932 edition of the Hymnal, writing the words for "Easter Hymn," No. 413. She was also a Christian Science practitioner, listed in the directory of The Christian Science Journal from 1944 until her passing.
