C. A. Hescock (1861-1941) was born in Stratton, Vermont, and died in
Hoosick Falls, New York. He expressed an interest in purchasing the Eddy farm at
Londonderry, Vermont; however, it sold to Stephen Houghton instead in July 1883. By the
early 1900s, Hescock had moved to Hoosick Falls, working as a machinist at the Walter A.
