Peter C. Helm (1857-?) was born in Iowa and died in an unknown location. He was a grocer. He married Hettie E. Helm, and they lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in the mid-1880s. The Helmses were acquainted with Minnie B. Hall De Soto, a student of Mary Baker Eddy's and founder of the Colorado Christian Science Institute. In 1886 Hall stayed with the Helmses and taught a class in Christian Science at their home.
