Havilah A. Heathwood (c.1847-?) was born in New Brunswick, Canada, and
died in an unknown location. She became interested in Christian Science in 1884 and
received class instruction from Huldah P. Read and Arthur T. Buswell, both students of
Mary Baker Eddy's. After studying with Read and Buswell, Heathwood embarked on a career
as an itinerant Christian Science practitioner and teacher, working in Illinois,
Colorado, and Montana. She was never listed in the directory of
The
Christian Science Journal and never joined The First Church of Christ,
Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.
