Viola B. Haskell (1840-1924) was born in Maine and died in Pasadena, California. In about 1860 she married Eben J. Haskell, a farmer, in Canaan, Maine. In 1888 they moved from Canaan to Pasadena, California, where Eben became a rancher. Haskell wrote to Mary Baker Eddy in June 1886 to order a copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. Based on the records available, we have found no further information concerning her involvement with Christian Science.
