Lizzie T. Harmony (1857-1936) was born in the state of New York and died
in Lockport, New York. She received Christian Science Primary class instruction from
Annie V. C. Leavitt, a student of Mary Baker Eddy's. Afterwards she maintained a
Christian Science healing practice in Lockport and then Albany, New York. In early 1888,

she continued her healing practice and established Christian Science church services.
For a few intermittent months between 1902 and 1903, Harmony worked in Eddy's home,
Pleasant View, in Concord, New Hampshire. In October 1892, she joined The First Church
of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, and was a member until her
