Mary J. Gray (1851-1922) was born in Indiana and died in Colorado
Springs, Colorado. She was married to John L. Gray, who was the Clerk of the District
Court for Park County, Colorado, and they lived in Fairplay, Colorado. They subsequently
divorced and she relocated to Colorado Springs. In 1886 she wrote to Sarah H. Crosse,
publisher and manager of
The Christian Science Journal, to
order copies of several of Mary Baker Eddy's writings and subscriptions to the
Journal.
