F. E. Grant (1849-1918) was born in Ithaca, New York, and died in New York, New York. For over thirty years, he owned and operated a bookstore in uptown Manhattan. There is no record of him studying with Mary Baker Eddy or uniting with the Church of Christ (Scientist).
