William G. Gould (c.1835-1893) was born in Vassalboro, Maine, and died in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He was a retired livery stable owner who wrote to Mary Baker Eddy in the fall of 1885 to ask for information on Christian Science treatment through prayer for his friend, Hugh B. Montgomery.
