Victoria M. Goss (1841-1930) was born in Waterford, Vermont, and died in
Waltham, Massachusetts. She was a school teacher and librarian who graduated from Mount
Holyoke College in 1861. For many years she worked in the Boston Public Schools. In
1885, she wrote to Mary Baker Eddy, asking her to donate a copy of
Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures to the library at the North
Bennet Street Industrial School.
