Mabel F. Goold (c.1863-1940) lived and died in Maine. Listed in
directories for Portland, Maine, as a saleswoman and a clerk, she worked for dry goods
dealer, John Little & Co., and later the Rines Brothers Company. In 1886, she wrote
to Mary Baker Eddy, asking her to recommend a Christian Science teacher in Portland and
Eddy made a note on Goold's letter to recommend Miss Robinson (likely R. J.
Robinson).
