Emma S. Goodwin (1838-1929) was born in St. Albans, Maine, and died in Portland, Maine. As a young woman, she worked as a teacher in St. Albans before she married. Although she expressed an interest in Christian Science, there is no record of her studying with Mary Baker Eddy or uniting with the Church of Christ (Scientist).
