Mercer Goodrich (1842-1940) was born and died in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He owned and operated a booksellers and stationers in Portsmouth for many years. There is no record of Goodrich studying with Mary Baker Eddy or uniting with the Church of Christ (Scientist).
