Edward G. Glover (1875-1962), who usually went by his middle name Gershom, was the eldest grandson of Mary Baker Eddy. He was born in Fargo, North Dakota, and died in Central Point, Oregon. He was christened by Mary Baker Eddy at a service held at Chickering Hall on February 26, 1888. As a young man, he worked with his father, George Washington Glover II, on claims owned by the Glover Gold Mining Company. He left Lead, South Dakota, in about 1903, eventually settling in Enid, Montana, where he married Mabel Tucker on December 29, 1908. (They would later divorce in January 1953.) Edward lived in Oregon during the 1920s and 1930s before returning to South Dakota in about 1940, where he owned and operated a cattle ranch just south of Spearfish, South Dakota. He returned to Oregon in approximately 1959, living in Central Point.
