Ada M. Gleason (c.1841-?) was born in Connecticut and died in an unknown location. Gleason was an entrepreneur who in 1871, along with her business partner, Martha Smith, constructed a telegraph line in New York City which they later extended. The business enjoyed success early on but it is not known whether the success endured. In 1885, Gleason wrote to Mary Baker Eddy, asking for information on Christian Science treatment through prayer.
