Florence N. Gifford (b. Lamson) (1850-1927) was born in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts, and died in Los Angeles County, California. In 1877 she married Reverend O. P. (Orrin Phillip) Gifford, a Baptist minister and well known defender of Mary Baker Eddy and Christian Science. Both Giffords took the Primary class with Eddy in 1885.
