W. K. Gibson (c.1830-1901) was born in New York and died in Riverside,
California. He was an attorney who began practicing in Jackson, Michigan, in 1854. For
many years he represented the Michigan Central Railroad Co. and other large corporations
in the Jackson area, but then in 1890, he moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and joined the
law firm of Winkler, Flanders, Smith, Bottum & Vilas. He retired in 1897 and moved
to Riverside, remaining there until his passing. There is no record of Gibson studying
with Mary Baker Eddy or uniting with the Church of Christ (Scientist).
