Lida S. Gibson (1841-1905) was born and died in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She married Samuel T. Gibson, a bookkeeper, in 1863. Gibson's friend, Margaretta E. Beaton, wrote to Mary Baker Eddy in 1886 asking if Eddy had a student in Philadelphia whom Gibson could visit. Based on the records available, we have found no further information concerning Gibson's involvement with Christian Science.
