L. C. B. Gault (1848-1912) was born in Vernon, Wisconsin, and died in
Waukesha, Wisconsin. She was a music teacher, and alongside her husband, William A.
Gault, ran a piano salesroom in Waukesha, Wisconsin. L. C. B. Gault was also an active
member of the Women's Christian Temperance Union and advocate for improved working
conditions in factories. Despite expressing interest, she never studied with Mary Baker
Eddy or joined the Church of Christ (Scientist).
